The Ohio Senate Finance Committee finished work on the state operating budget, House Bill (HB) 33, this afternoon after acceptance of an omnibus amendment that is over 2,000 pages. The bill is now expected to be voted out of the full Senate tomorrow when they meet for Session at 10 a.m.

At this time we are waiting on additional budget documents and details from the Legislative Service Commission (LSC) before sending out any action items. Once we have additional information, we’ll send out talking points asking library directors, fiscal officers, and boards of trustees to contact their legislators.
