Update 3/13/23:
The Ohio House of Representatives will hold committee hearings this week on House Bill (HB) 33, the state operating budget for Fiscal Years (FY) 2024-2025. The Ohio Library Council will be providing testimony on March 14 before the House Finance Subcommittee on Higher Education. A transcript of the testimony will be posted at libraryfunding.olc.org.

Registration is open for the next State Budget Update Webinar, scheduled for Fri., March 31 at 2 p.m. This session will provide information on both HB 33 and HB 1, including all provisions impacting public libraries. The webinar will also cover our plans for Legislative Day on April 26. If you are unable to participate in the live presentation, the webinar will be recorded and posted on the OLC website.
