At the state level, Ohio’s public libraries are funded through the Public Library Fund (PLF) which receives 1.7% of the state’s General Revenue Fund (GRF). State funding for Ohio’s public libraries will be automatically cut again on July 1, 2017 unless action is taken to protect the PLF.
