Send a letter or note of congratulations to your newly-elected members of the Ohio General Assembly. It can be a handwritten note (more personable) or on official library letterhead (more formal).

Personalize the note/letter and include the following information:

1. Note if the legislator was re-elected or will be a freshman legislator in January.
2. Note if the Rep. or Sen.-elect has visited your library recently. If he/she has NOT visited your library in the past two months, please be sure to invite them in for a visit.
3. Remind them that the library has meeting room space and is available for use when they hold office hours in the district.
4. Provide your contact information and request that they contact you directly for any information or to reserve a meeting room.
