HB 166 State Budget Bill Update: PLF Amendments; OLC to Testify

PLF Amendments for HB 166

Amendments in the House to HB 166, the state’s two-year budget bill, are due to House Finance Committee Chairman Scott Oelslager’s office this Friday. OLC has been contacted by two House members who are drafting amendments to increase the PLF for FY20-21. This is all part of the behind the scenes negotiating process and puts the OLC in a better position for restoring the PLF. As a reminder, the governor’s proposal would maintain the PLF at 1.68%.
